Jolteon: the same number is not enough
This historical case explains a rejected comparison. It is not a current buying opportunity.
- Actual listing
- 2007 Jolteon 109/113 World Championships Promo PSA 8
- Observed asking price
- $99.99
- Condition / variant
- PSA 8 — World Championships edition
- Rejected comparison
- The ungraded regular holofoil card, $287.49 in a price guide
Why this cannot support a Buy
The card number matches, but the edition and grading do not. A price guide for the raw regular card cannot value this graded championship printing.
Match the edition, language, year, grader and exact grade. Without enough recent comparable sales, no Buy alert is issued.
A valid calculation is: comparable resale price − purchase price − selling fee − inbound shipping − outbound shipping. Here the resale price is unproven, so we publish no net profit. Availability and prices at the original link may have changed.
