Terms
What you get, what it costs, and what happens when something goes wrong.
Who this agreement is with
FlipSonar is operated by FlipSonar — Inhaber: Nikita Moos, Frauenberger Str. 119, 53879 Euskirchen, Germany. Write to info@flipsonar.com about anything on this page.
These terms apply when you use the site, with or without an account. By opening an account or buying a plan you accept them.
What FlipSonar is — and what it is not
FlipSonar measures what resale goods are selling for, works out what you would be left with after fees and shipping, and points at listings priced below that. It is a research tool. It is not a shop, a broker, an escrow service or a party to anything you buy or sell.
- Every number here is an estimate. We say where each one comes from — a completed-sales average, a median of live asking prices, a measured range — and asking prices are labelled as such. None of them is a promise that anything sells at that figure.
- Nothing here is investment or financial advice. What you buy, at what price, and whether you buy at all is your decision and your risk.
- We do not guarantee profit. Prices move after we measure them, listings disappear, fees change, and goods arrive in a condition nobody could see in a photo.
- Our counterfeit check is an opinion, not a verdict. It reads prices, seller history and photos. It can be wrong in both directions. Authenticate anything valuable yourself before you pay.
- Listings belong to other people. We link to marketplaces; we do not control what is listed there, whether it is real, or whether the seller ships it.
Your account
One account, one person. Do not share your login, resell access, or let anyone else use your plan — that is the one thing that ends an account without a refund of the current period.
You are responsible for keeping your password to yourself. Tell us at once if you think somebody else has it. You can close your account at any time in your settings, and everything belonging to it goes with it — see the privacy notice for what that means in detail.
FlipSonar is for people aged 18 and over.
Plans, price and billing
- We offer Starter at $19/month or $189/year, Pro at $39/month or $389/year, Elite at $79/month or $789/year. Prices are in US dollars and include VAT where it applies. Anything you see in euros on this site is converted at a reference rate for readability — the amount actually charged is the dollar one.
- Payment runs through Whop, who handle the card details; they never reach us. Their own terms apply to the payment itself.
- A monthly plan renews automatically at the end of each month until you cancel it. Cancel any time — from your account, through Whop, or without any login on the cancellation page. It stops the next renewal and you keep access until the period you already paid for runs out. We do not part-refund a period you have started, except where the law says otherwise.
- A yearly plan is billed once a year and renews for another year on that date unless you cancel before it — from your account, through Whop, or on the cancellation page. We remind you by email 30 days before the renewal. Within the first 30 days of your first year you can ask for your money back, no reason needed. Consumers in the EU keep their statutory rights: after a renewal you may end the plan with one month's notice, and we refund the unused months.
- The tiers differ in volume, not in honesty: every tier includes the fake check, the net after fees and the source of every figure. What differs is the number of scans a month (100 / 400 / 1500), the saved searches (2 / 10 / 30), when the alerts board is shown to you, push and mail, bulk scanning and export — as stated on the plan cards at the time you buy. A counter that fails never blocks you; only a plainly exceeded cap does, and it tells you the number and the reset date.
- If we change the price, we tell you before the renewal it applies to, and you can cancel before it takes effect. A price change never reaches back into a period you have already paid.
Your right to cancel
If you are a consumer in the EU you have fourteen days from the day you buy to change your mind, for any reason or none, and get your money back. Write to info@flipsonar.com — one sentence is enough, there is no form and we do not ask why.
We repay within fourteen days of hearing from you, by the same route you paid. Using the product in the meantime does not cost you the right.
What you may and may not do
Use FlipSonar for your own resale business. Do not:
- scrape, bulk-download or automate the site, or republish our measurements as your own product;
- resell, sublicense or share access, or pass our data on to somebody who has not paid for it;
- try to get at other people's data, or at parts of the service you have not paid for;
- use it to trade counterfeits, or for anything unlawful.
Break one of these and we may suspend or close the account. Where the breach is serious — sharing access, trading fakes — that happens without a refund of the period you are in.
Availability
We aim to keep the service up and running, and we do not promise it always will be. Some of it depends on other people's systems: marketplaces, price sources, payment. Maintenance happens, and so do outages.
Features change. We add things, and occasionally something goes away because it turned out to be wrong rather than because we lost interest. If we remove something you actually paid for, you can cancel and we refund the unused part of the period.
Our liability
We are fully liable for damage caused deliberately or by gross negligence, for injury to life, body or health, and wherever product liability law says so.
For ordinary negligence we are liable only where we break an obligation that makes this agreement work at all and that you are entitled to rely on — and then limited to the damage that was foreseeable and typical for an agreement of this kind.
We are not liable for a trade that did not work out. Buying something because a number here looked good, and selling it for less, is the ordinary risk of the business you are in. It is also why we tell you where every figure comes from instead of just showing it.
Changes to these terms
If we change something that matters, we tell you by email at least thirty days before it takes effect. Carry on using the service after that and the new version applies; if you would rather not, cancel before the date and nothing changes for the period you already paid.
Law and where disputes go
German law applies. If you are a consumer, that does not take away the protection of the law where you live.
The European Commission runs an online dispute resolution platform at ec.europa.eu/consumers/odr. We are not obliged to take part in dispute resolution before a consumer arbitration body, and we do not. Write to us first — it is faster and it usually works.
If part of this does not hold
If a court finds one clause here invalid, the rest stays as it is, and the invalid part is replaced by what the law provides.
